The whole virtual tabletop (in beta) is free: live sessions, battlemaps with fog of war, tokens, 5e sheets with the SRD spell engine, dice, tavern games, music and soundboard, the session recorder with auto-assembled illustrated journals, Craig's text co-GM (map and session chat, lore, research, prep), AI map tagging, and 40 generated images a month. The paid tier unlocks unlimited generation, large 4K battlemaps, unlimited transcription, 'Hey Craig' voice, and AI audio.
No. Players join your live sessions from one share link — no accounts, no installs, no cost. Logged-in players see exactly what you've shared: entities, published journals, and approved art. Only the GM subscribes.
Each campaign is $30/month. So 2 campaigns = $60/mo, 3 = $90/mo. Every campaign you add beyond your free one starts its own $30/month subscription, and you can cancel any of them independently.
Free accounts get 40 images per month — enough for about one session per week. Campaign Pro has no monthly image cap. To keep things fair, very heavy months (hundreds of images) switch to faster standard-quality renders, and there's a daily safety limit that normal campaigns never come near. You can also earn bonus image credits by purchasing merch ($1 spent = 1 extra image credit).
Image generation uses Google's Gemini and OpenAI's image models; Craig's writing and art direction run on OpenAI's models. Transcription uses AssemblyAI, and music, sound effects, and character voices use ElevenLabs.
Yes. Cancel from the billing dashboard at any time. Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period. Your first campaign then drops back to the free tier; any extra campaigns are locked until you resubscribe. No data is deleted.
Custom merch (t-shirts, framed posters, mugs, sticker sheets, blankets, hats, water bottles, playing cards, temporary tattoos, and 3D-printed miniatures) is available on all tiers as a separate purchase. Orders are printed and shipped by our curated production partners, with shipping included in the price (miniatures add a small shipping charge at checkout). Bonus: every dollar you spend on merch earns you an image credit — a $25 t-shirt gives you 25 extra images.
